Open Journal Systems
As part of my new role at St Andrews I am evaluating software for hosting online journals. Open Journal Systems from the Public Knowledge Project supports the refereed publishing process and will allow academics to create and manage their own open access journals hosted by the University. Lots of exciting possibilities to be explored...
New challenges
Just started a new post at St Andrews University working with a new Research Information System called Pure and its links with the institutional repository. Lots of testing to do before implementation, so busy exploring functionality and preparing user guides and advocacy material.
